Science show based CPD: 3

Summary

Developing class based experiments or demos to bring a lesson alive is a skill that takes many years to perfect.  Dr Bryson Gore spent 17 years at the Royal Institution of Great Britain (Ri) learning how to use demonstrations and experiments to bring science education alive.  For the past 10 years he has been a freelance lecturer taking those skills into schools and inspiring students and teachers to use practical science to pose the questions that have driven scientists for hundreds of years.

In this course teachers and technicians will get a hands-on experience of some classic demos that can be used to inspire the students of today and review the principles of how to develop new classroom experiments and demos to suit the modern curriculum.

The course is available tailored to both primary and secondary needs ( both GSCE and AS/A2 level )
